Production of variable grip for mountain stream and sea bass fishing
This time, the request came from a sea bass lure angler who loves bait tackle!!
The customer wanted to start using lures in mountain streams, but also requested that we make a grip that could be used for sea bass.
The reel seat is an ACS seat with a purple gradient paint finish.
It's a gradation paint that only shows up purple when light hits it.
The base handle
The base grip and end grips with parallel joints of different lengths can be inserted, making it a short handle when fishing in mountain streams.
When fishing for sea bass, you can switch to the middle handle with one touch.
First, make the base grip.
There are no end grips and it is ready to be inserted.
The request was to add a silver ring as a unique accent to the EVA grip, in keeping with the style of a sea bass angler.
Short end grip for mountain streams
If you insert a short grip, it becomes a stream specification ★
The end pieces haven't been attached yet.
After discussing the owner's preferred length, we cut the pipe and attach the end parts.
I plan to keep it as short as possible.
In mountain streams, long-distance casting ability is not necessary; what's important is ease of handling.
Mid-end grip for sea bass
If you are targeting sea bass, you can insert a slightly longer grip and set it up accordingly.
This is a standard length that can be used for a variety of targets, including not only sea bass, but also bass, mainstream trout, and rockfish.
The true power of this variable grip is revealed when you aim at a variety of targets.
Once you have agreed on the desired length for this grip, we will attach the end parts.
Front grip and hood nut design
Equipped with Hitotoki Works' joint system, you can instantly switch between sea bass rod blanks and stream rod blanks.
This combination allows you to change the grip length to suit your rod, making it the only rod system in the world!
The decorative aluminum parts are also original Hitotoki Works aluminum parts.

We have combined the ACS reel seat with a hood for the skeleton seat, but please be aware that depending on the reel, rattling may occur!
This time, the customer requested this combination, and we installed it after checking its compatibility with the reel that will actually be used.
