This year I went to Gifu in search of ROMAN...

Our annual trip to Gifu with SAITO, manager of Joshuya Seki store.

We arrived at the site at 2am and had a drink.

After taking a short nap, manager SAITO, who had been too excited to sleep much, was already getting ready to go fishing by 5 o'clock.

Hurry up and get ready so you don't get left behind!

A triple hit early on

The purpose of this day was to catch some good fish using the 6ft class rod 【ROMAN】, which will be released soon, and 【IGNA】, which is currently undergoing final adjustments.

We go downriver and search for the spot where the rapids meet the slower current of the shallows.

Put the lure into the rapids and as soon as it enters the slower current, slide the IGNA sideways to turn on the fish...

I was able to achieve my goal for today within five minutes of starting.

During the shoot, we also got a hit with Manager SAITO and MINA!

The fish react in exactly the same way as I do, which is fascinating.

What's more, the fish that Manager SAITO caught was a cool yamame trout with a body just as cute as his own.

IGNA's sideways slide is explosive!

Manager SAITO dedicated his new WICKMAN with jade grip to a memorable occasion.

After that, large yamame trout continued to play constantly...

MINA is not good at fishing for yamame trout, so for a long time she only caught char and did not come across any yamame trout...

And the princess gets in a bad mood...

The manager of SAITO gave us a detailed lecture on how to approach the product...

The princess was in a good mood after safely meeting the yamame trout.

The manager of SIATO and I were relieved.

Princess MINA, who had been so quiet up until then, has suddenly become very talkative.

While the two of them were engrossed in their conversation, I took the opportunity to concentrate on fishing again.

Immediately, ROMAN bends significantly.

ROMAN's glass composite tip absorbs the fight of the thrashing fish.

We were able to land a plump rainbow safely.

If you look closely, you can see that there are no black spots and it is a Hourai salmon.

ROMAN has ML class bad power, so there is still plenty of room for improvement.

Thanks to ROMAN and IGNA, we had a lot of fun with almost no breakaways.
