Lure under development 1 IGNA42S

Lure under development 1 IGNA42S

Hello, this is Kamimura from Hitotoki Works.

Three months have passed since I moved to Hokkaido.

I still don't have many connections and work is hectic, so I've decided that this year is the year to "get things in order" lol

Even in these circumstances, we are continuing the challenge as much as possible!!

Because that's what I enjoy the most.

Achieve high-level reaction and feeding performance

The IGNA50S was Hitotoki Works' first lure.

We are happy to have many people use it, and we were able to encounter many fish in Hokkaido!

Even in Hokkaido, in small streams or during drought periods, there are times when even the IGNA50S has a poor response.

In order to get the fish to react in such situations, the following three points are more important than the IGNA50S.

[Table turns more precisely]

[Slide width is small]

[Fall speed is slow]

The point is, you want to slowly invite her in while making lateral movements!!

In order to achieve this, it was necessary to reduce the size, so a prototype was made.

The first model shown in the photo is a scaled-down version of the IGNA50S with the same proportions, but it ended up looking like an ordinary lure that is completely different from the image we had in mind.

After much trial and error, we came up with the model shown below.

By changing the body from flat to slightly rounded, we were able to create an action that was closer to what we had imagined.

Furthermore, by adjusting the position of the line eye and the weight, I was able to achieve the action I imagined.

just···

Choosing a hook is difficult...

If we use hooks with long shanks, the hooks tend to get tangled, so we are currently selecting the best hooks.

We are currently developing many other lures, but this is the one that has progressed the smoothest in development!!

Slow action allows for great feeding ability

By being able to lure them slowly, the number of bites often increases as soon as you switch from IGNA50S to IGNA42S midway through the bait.

This seems to happen especially often in rivers with low water levels.

But the opposite happens a lot too lol

There are many times when you can't even reach the bottom in the first place, so the key is to use them appropriately.

Although the uses are clearly different, the movement is IGNA!!

We are currently moving on to mass production testing with the aim of releasing it in the spring of next year.

Stay tuned!
