Horizontal sliding lure under development IGNA63S

Horizontal sliding lure under development IGNA63S

Reaction x Appeal

When aiming for large trout, [reaction and appeal]

I think these two things are very important in order to use the mouths of the cautious large fish that lurk in the best spots.

Sideways sliding that cannot be achieved with flat or rolling lures.

I'm sure many people have been able to catch many large fish using the IGNA50S with this movement.

Horizontal slide action 63mm size prototype

I am one of them, but by making the silhouette larger and increasing the sliding width, you can increase the [reaction] and [appeal], making it easier for larger fish to bite while avoiding places with a lot of water or small fish!

In order to create a lure that can slide even further than the IGNA50S and be able to explore strong currents and the bottom, the first prototype was made by expanding the length of the IGNA50S to 63mm while keeping the same proportions.

The ratio is the same, so the same movement won't occur...

It doesn't slide and hits flat, so it's just a normal lure...

From there, we adjusted the rear center of gravity, shape, weight, etc. to create the second model shown in the photo below, and although it did achieve a similar action, we weren't satisfied with it...

After repeated adjustments on the third model to realize our slight requests, we finally achieved the ideal action.

I mostly used it in the main stream, but even in high water conditions in high pressure rivers, I could let it slide and fall along the twists in the current...

Bang!!

It was a good-sized rainbow trout that entertained us with its fierce fight!

To Masa, a solo angler from Asahikawa

Once I was finally satisfied with the action, I handed it over to Masa, who is also a big game angler, to test it out.

Apparently he used it while fishing for rainbow trout, and while his friends weren't biting at all on his lures, he said he had a great time all by himself, which was the best feedback I could have received.

just···

It's not going to be easy after all lol

It's already a well-established trend...

Apparently the rear hook was twisted and broken during the fight with the huchen, so I will have to take measures to strengthen it, just like with the jointed lure.

There's still a long way to go before this product can be commercialized.
