How to replace the handle knob

Now I will explain how to replace it.

STEP 1 Removing the original handle

First, remove the cap from the original handle knob.

It can be easily removed by picking it out with a thin toothpick.

Daiwa products may also come with a tool in the original box with a wire tip bent 90 degrees, which can be used to remove the wire.

When you remove the knob cap, you can see the flat head screw.

Remove that screw with a screwdriver.

The number and thickness of adjustment washers vary from one item to another.

STEP 2 Attaching the handle knob

Simply replace the knob parts and assemble them into the handle.

The last bearing tends to go in at an angle, so make sure the tip of the handle shaft and the bearing are flush.

Tighten the fixing screws with a screwdriver and you're done.

STEP 3 Clearance adjustment

In most cases, the knob will be hard to turn or will wobble.

● If the rotation is difficult

Please adjust by removing the necessary number of adjustment washers.

If rattling occurs

Adjust by adding the included adjustment washer.

STEP 4: Install the knob cap and the replacement is complete

Once you have finished adjusting the clearance, attach the knob cap and the work is complete.

All you need is a single tool, a screwdriver, and it's a very simple process that will completely change the look of your tackle.

Please give it a try!
