Original lure development project starts #5

Hello!

This is Kamimura from Hitotoki Works.

This time, I'd like to talk about the lure development that I have been slacking off on.

In the previous blog, we tested a prototype that was made by cutting.

The future course of action is as follows:

1. Finding the ideal balance with the cutting body

2. Once you find the ideal balance, output the data for that balance.

2. Using that data, we made a prototype with an injection body.

3. Fine-tuning

4. Finished!

As of today, December 9th, everything is complete! (^^)!

I've been so busy with testing and other work that I don't have time to update you on the progress...

I've been slacking on updating my blog _(._.)_

Ideal balance with cutting body

After fishing for bass, sweetfish, light saltwater, etc., I noticed that the fish reacted more than anything else.

The moment when the lure or bait swings sideways.

From the last blog, what "part" is wrong?

To clarify this, we have conducted repeated testing in various locations since the ban was lifted in 2021.

Although the fish reacted to it a lot, it didn't seem to react particularly better than other lures.

The ideal, fine action involves the lure rotating sideways and repeating the action.

If you jerk it hard, it will fly off to the side.

Although repeated fine-tuning was made to create this action, it is still far from the ideal action.

However, while we were making repeated fine adjustments, there was one moment when I felt a good atmosphere.

That's when you attach a weight to the front part.

Using this slight hint as a hint, he hypothesized that if he could move the center of gravity of the weight further forward, he could emphasize lateral movement, and so he decided to make major modifications.

It has a one-room structure made of tungsten clay so that the proper position and weight can be adjusted.

As expected, this major overhaul turned out to be a good idea, and we quickly got closer to our ideal action.

After repeated testing, we arrived at this weight design.

The result of this major remodeling of the internal structure is the Proto Lure Ver. 5!!!

This strategy of bringing the weight forward worked, and I was able to make some great memories during the high season!

I made some fine adjustments along the way, but I finally achieved the ideal action.

From here, in order to move on to the injection body, we will collect data from Proto Lure Ver. 5 and prototype the body and weight in the same way as the mass-produced model.

We've also uploaded videos showing the development process, so be sure to check them out!!
